Peer Group Support

Synergy Care provides Peer Group Support across all therapy services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.

To build community across our team members, these informative and interactive groups follow a structured format across a variety of topics to support our continuous improvement goals. This additional level of support offers education, peer support and resources throughout your Synergy Care career.

We welcome input from all team members across these primary disciplines – for recent graduates, experienced therapists or those new to the medical setting. Through open forums and planned topics, we provide helpful information and create conversations to improve patient care. Examples of topics include:

  • Successful compensatory strategies, treatments or interventions
  • PDPM – Stay Informed
  • Parkinson’s – Balance & Gait
  • Incontinence
  • Clinical Swallow Evaluation
  • Cranial Nerve Testing
  • Section GG – Get Ahead of the Changes
  • National Rehab Awareness Week
  • Pressure Ulcers
  • Low Vision

Leadership across Synergy Care comes from a range of adult settings to offer a variety of expertise across various patient diagnoses and acuity of illness. In addition to monthly meetings, we provide Peer Group calls for additional support opportunities as well as CEU offerings and access to hundreds of patient education tools and patient engagement programs.
